Going out alone
At the moment Solar and Ocean are not going out for walks together, Ocean still needs a few more days before his inoculations are active enough to mix with other dogs, unless they have been vaccinated themselves.
The only time so far they have gone out the front door together has been to the edge of our front garden.
Sue has been taking Ocean to the vets, pet shop, neighbours etc but he is now too heavy to carry for anymore than short distances, last weighed in the vets at 11.9 kg at 10 weeks old
Though they have yet to go on a walk together they have a great time chasing and playing together in the house and back garden, we used to have a lawn but now it is more like a ploughed field in places.
Ocean is fearless, Solar is tolerant; however sometimes they do need separation for their own good, normally just a few moments brings it back down to a manageable level.
They are currently fed separately, there was a little spat a few weeks ago, and we were told how a puppy lost it's sight over food guarding, so we took as far as we could. Once there was that spat we took it back a little, mainly because of their size difference, Solar now weighing around 38 kg
Sue captured them in the kitchen, their different reactions to a balloon...says it all at the moment.
